About this product
The PGA TOUR G1 Kids Golf Set is a right-handed set designed for children ages 3-5, fitting kids 42-49 inches tall. It includes a driver, 7-iron, and putter, along with a green golf bag. The clubs feature graphite shafts with a youth flex and PGA Tour grips. The set is part of the G1 model and is made in China.
Our take
This set is a budget-friendly introduction to golf for the youngest players. The three-club setup (driver, 7-iron, putter) is simple and appropriate for ages 3-5, covering the basics without overwhelming a child. The graphite shafts are lightweight and easy to swing. The included bag is a nice touch for carrying clubs to the course or practice. However, the set is very limited in club selection, so it's not suitable for older or more advanced kids. The youth flex is very soft, which is fine for beginners but may not provide enough feedback as skills improve. If you're looking for a starter set that won't break the bank, this is a reasonable choice, but be prepared to upgrade as your child grows.
